In recent years, with the growth of juvenile hurt and juvenile crime, the use of mobile phone positioning technology to protect and supervise juveniles has been the focus of people’s attention. Considering Android system’s open-source character, rich software resources and wide application in the field of mobiles, the study of a monitoring system based on Android system has a wide range of applications.This thesis designs and implements a travel log monitoring system based on Android mobile terminals.The system is divided into the monitor terminal and the monitored terminal, and is installed in the guardian and the under-guardian’s Android mobile phones respectively. The system takes SMS as a medium to transfer the monitoring instructions and GPS position coordinates. Through showing the locations of the under-guardian in the monitor terminal, it realizes the location and tracing of the under-guardian. The process of the realization of the specific functions is:First, the monitored number, the collection points, and the interval are put into the monitor terminal; then, the monitoring button is opened and the format text message is sent by the monitor terminal; Inputting the number of monitor terminal into the monitored terminal, when the monitored terminal receives the format text message, the format text message is separated and match processed; Then, the collection points and intervals are passed to the counting module,and the counting module accesses the GPS module based on the collection points and intervals; The GPS data collected by the monitored terminal are transmitted to the monitor terminal by the time interval and the collection points in the form of SMS; Then the monitor terminal extracts the coordinates of the monitored terminal from the message, which is transmitted to the travel record drawing module; Finally, the monitor terminal draws the travel map, and completes the whole monitoring.Based on the top-down approach and through the study of relevant theories of Android system, this thesis focuses on the implementations, determines the system’s running processes and functions, and completes the design and implementation of the interface and various modules of the monitor terminal and the monitored terminal. The system has advantages of clear function, simple operation, and simple installation, low cost and so on. After the related tests, it can run successfully, complete the design goal, effectively solve the difficult problem of monitoring the under-guardian and has certain practical value.
