The Design Of Remote Video Monitoring System Based On Android Phone

As an important part of security system, video monitoring system displays the situation of the monitor to people in the most intuitive and convenient way. With the fast development of science and technology, the video monitoring system has made great progress. We have entered the age of Internet and is gradually moving towards the Internet of things. At the same time, smart phones with Android operating system are becoming more and more popular, and gradually occupied the leading position in the mobile phone’s market. In this background, this paper presents a design of wireless monitoring system based on the Android mobile phone, which realizes real-time monitoring on the Android phones and improves the convenience of monitoring system.This paper describes the background and significance of the research and analyzes the current development situation and the future development trends of the video monitoring system at home and abroad. After completing the analysis of needs, it puts forward the overall design of the system and introduces the operating system on the platforms. Then it introduces the design of server platform and mobile client design in details. This design uses S3C6410as the master of the server, and builds the server platform by the transplantation of Linux operating system, USB camera driver. On the platform, to do software design realizes the end function of the server.The monitoring client is the intelligent mobile phone with Android operating system. The design completes the build of environment for Android software development in the Windows operating system, including installations of the operating system configuration, Java environment, Eclipse development tools, Android SDK and Android development tools plugin (ADT).Through the research and design of software of mobile phone’s App, the paper finally realizes the video monitoring system based on C/S.
