Field programmable gate array (FPGA) is a programmable logic devices.It has advantages of good performance, large scale,repeatable programming, and the small investment.More and more widely applied in the field of aerospace military industry. But most FPGA are imported in the field of aerospace military industry. The reliability problem become the focus of attention. Therefore, how to improve the service reliability of FPGA by testing the FPGA prior to use, is very important.This thesis is about the FPGA fault detection problem prior to use. The main research work is based on the FPGA all the parts of the internal resources to adopt effective methods to test the configuration, function verification and its internal resources for electrical parameter validation.This thesis mainly includes the following content:1 According to the characteristics of FPGA, the interior progammale logic resources testing techonolgy of Xinlix’s FPGA based on’separates method’and ’array method’is researched, including programmable logic unit (CLB), input/output interface (IOB), block RAM (BlockRAM), digital clock management (DCM), multiplier (MU) and Interconnect Resource (IR), and more coverage rate is reached used fewer configuration times.2 The on_timing re_ configuration methods of FPGAs based on auto_testing system are designed,and the automatization and programmablity of testing FPGA ’configuration-test-re_configuration-test’is realized. The times of reconfiguration can be expanded by the interior progammale logic resources of FPGAs, then more comprehensive testing of FPGAs can be reached.3 In order to prove the test method can be a very good application to the actual FPGA tests. This test method is applied success of Xilinx FPGA (XC2V1000-5 FG256)for fault detection of logic functions, testing of dc and ac parameters by in the ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) V93000 test system editing Test software.Show that the proposed test method can very good application in work, and has the value.Through this method to edit the FPGA test software has been applied to the FPGA fault detection of aerospace field.Eliminate the defective products, improve the reliability of FPGA, and improve the machines reliability of aerospace military industry.
