The Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) is usually used to implement underground communications and location with the complex under the mine environment, where the network coverage and the network life is the difficulty and hot to the senor layout optimization problem. The intelligent optimization algorithm is used to realize the layout of senor nodes, and maximizing the network coverage and life. Firstly, the differential evolution algorithm(DE) is applied to intelligently optimize WSN model in this paper. And then, in order to improve the network coverage, differential evolution algorithm is presented. According to the mine characteristics, the Zig Bee technology is taken as the research object. The DE algorithm is used to optimize the layout of the mine Zig Bee anchor nodes, for purpose of the extension of the network life. The main content of this paper is as follows:Firstly, in this thesis, we describe the principle, the mathematical modeling, the algorithm parameters and the implementation process of Differential Evolution algorithm in detail, and improve Differential Evolution algorithm aimed at the prone problems. Then we introduce the related concept of Artificial Fish-Swarm algorithm. Test some benchmark functions based on these two kinds of optimization algorithm, and analyze the pros and cons of them. Do matting for improving Differential Evolution algorithm next step.Secondly, coverage model and mathematical model of universal wireless sensor networks were introduced. Respectively, based on Differential Evolution algorithm and the improved Differential evolution algorithm, Artificial Fish Modified Differential Evolution(AFMDE) updated mutation and refering to Artificial Fish-crowding factors, we optimize wireless sensor network layout.At last, Layout Optimization of WSN’s Zig Bee anchor nodes under the Mine Based on Differential Evolution Algorithm. Firstly, describe underground Zig Bee network node system’s architecture model and energy model. Propose a cross-linear anchor nodes’ layout under the mine method based on least square optimization, and compare it with normal cross-linear anchor nodes’ average placement method, verifying its better energy efficiency. Finally, the AFMDE algorithm is applied to Zig Bee anchor nodes placement under the mine, the experimental results show that this algorithm can prolong the network life efficiently.In conclusion,the improved Differential Evolution algorithm has a better performance in improving the Zig Bee wireless network coverage and prolonging the network life cycle underground.
