Since the 1990 s, the emotional type of program, began to grow and become the main force viewing channel for people in social transition period provides a platform for emotional catharsis in the course of development of television programs. In the emotional type of program, the host is the program guide, listener,but also the audience and guests of the bridge, has a pivotal role in the program,determine success or failure. And now, the host of the emotional type of program appeared at different levels of problems in practice. The important cause is the host of the program lack of theory. This has resulted in their wrong practices.This paper using the theory of social performance, and using the human performance studies, communication, social psychology theory. Through analysis the emotional type of program hosts’ behavior, and discussion on the role of emotional type of TV show host’s performance attributes, roles, performance errors, and disciplinary the manner of the role template. This paper is divided into six parts to analyze emotional type of program presenters.The first part is analyzing the academic background, and sort out the relevant literature, to explore innovation of this paper.The second part is based on social learning basic performance theory. Proposing the creative act of the host is a social science show, and then analyzing the role of the host.In the third part is exploring the background, definition of the emotional TV program, and using Social Performance Studies to targeting the role and the behavior of the host in the emotional TV program.Part IV using sociology theory "common presence", social psychology theory "impression management", and the main theories of Social Performance Studies "self and role", "front and back", "script and improvisation", to guide the host of emotionalTV program recognize their social performances. Analyzing the expected of audience for emotional TV program hosts’ social performances, so the host and audience could reach long-term resonance.The fifth part is rethinking the social performances of emotional TV programs host. Pointing out the performance mistakes, and noting the negative impact on the dissemination of results of the program and the audience psychologically.The sixth part is mainly aimed at the role of emotional TV program host positioning error and performance anomie, and discussion on optimizing strategies emotional TV program host social performances, pointed out emotional TV program host how to target and optimize chair reasonably.
