The human society has come into the "information age" since the 1990s, and the progress of science and technology has been promoting the development of the Internet. People’s lifestyle has also been changed with the emergence of Internet shopping platform. In the aspect of design, the research on the interaction design of the Internet platform are paying more and more attention to the user experience of the product. Meanwhile, the theory about design psychology is more and more applied to the research of user experience.In this paper, the concept of flow theory, which is belong to the positive psychology, is discussed thoroughly. The development history of flow theory is analyzed, and a large number of research on the dimension of optimal experience, which could be divided into realtime experience and sustainable experience, is collected and summarized. And then, the characteristics of the Internet shopping platform and users are dissected, the four requirements of Internet users’optimal experience and the influence factors for the user experience in the design of platform are proposed. The relationship model between the change of user requirements and the dimension of optimal experience in the design of the Internet shopping platform is explored with the methods such as questionnaire survey, Likert scale, SPSS analysis and so on, and the relationship model is validated by subsequent experiments. Finally, the Internet shopping platform design based on optimal experience is completed, which could be an effective guidance for the developing direction of the Internet shopping user experience design.This paper aims to find a new way of the Internet user experience design by combining flow theory, and the user experience of the Internet shopping platform is our main research object. This paper also extends to the Internet user experience beyond the Internet shopping platform, trying to find the universal laws in the Internet user experience design.
