Oriented research institutes to design, develop project management system, has important practical and theoretical value.Based on the development of the UESTC research project management system, in order to realize its informatization, this topic introduces the whole process of finishing project management system, including design, analysis, development and test. Firstly, this article introduces the development condition of research project management system; secondly, it gives a brief analysis of their application needs; then it makes a simple explanation of technology related to software development.Net Framework, MVC three-tier, the Visual Studio 2008 development platform, ASP.NET architecture and SQL Server 2005 database technology has been used in this program. To accomplish this project, we make a detailed analysis and investigation of the research project management status and its functional needs in UESTC. Upon the analysis of the overall system architecture analysis and design, we make the functional definition of the system, database design and process design. According to the standard model of the system software, we progam and test the system and eventually achieve the on-line deployment.Results shows that this system could helps the researchers to realize the management of scientific research project, at the same time, the system can also provide all kinds of standard materials during the whole process of scientific research project. The users can fill in different report according to the project is in phase. It all helps to improve management of scientific research project of efficient management.
