In order to avoid the maintenance shortage or excess maintenance, the domestic major airlines and manufacturing units have been widely used in the maintenance of the situation. The engine condition monitoring is the basis for the maintenance of the situation, and the key technology is the engine parameters recording technology. At present, the research of engine parameters is still in the preliminary stage, for most of the key technology is not fully mastered. Therefore most of the parameters of the system and the software are dependent on foreign engine manufacturersThis article is from the actual project. The project is for a certain type of aircraft engine health and fault diagnosis system. It is designed to collect and record aircraft engine parameters related to the instrument. Its function is mainly to collect all kinds of signal parameters on the engine and download the record data to the ground equipment through the high-speed Ethernet interface. The software design of the engine parameter recorder is mainly used to complete the control of the hardware circuit, the numerical calculation, the logical judgment, the data record, the output control and the self inspection and so on. The engine parameter recorder will realize its full function under the control of working software.In this paper, we analyze and design the software of the engine parameter recorder software based on the above research background. Starting from the thought of the process oriented design, the hardware configuration and development environment of the software of engine parameter recorder is described. Moreover, we have introduced VxWorks operation system, and we have analysied BSP technique. Then the overall framework of the software is given according to the requirement analysis of the software function and performance. Finally, the detailed implementation scheme and the test verification scheme are worked out. Ultimately, the overall technical route is formed. According to the requirement of engine parameter recorder, the software is divided into several modules, and the main function modules are designed in detail, and the cross development mode is used to design the environment and C language. The target program that has been compiled and processed is written to the target machine, and the function and performance of the software are tested according to the test plan.The final goal of this paper is to develop a set of engine parameter recording software, realize the real-time engine condition monitoring, automation and intelligent. The software has chronicle in a certain type of aircraft for flight test, the software development success can be provide some ideas for the domestic airlines and other engine unit, so as to overcome the dependence on foreign manufacturers, the experience should be provided for the independent development of engine parameter recording system and software.
