With the development of electronic technology, the degree of automotive electronics has constantly enhanced. Safe, convenient, comfortable, clean, economy has been in the automotive industry and the user goal. The key to achieving these goals lies the car's electronic and intelligent; the prerequisite is the timely collect all kinds of information.In order to capture car movement data, the general traveling data recorder records the vehicle speed, time, vehicle mileage and other related state information to the record store and through the interface data output. Because the various traffic information is very complex, When the car is moving process.In the process of moving, the body of the vehicle may to consider as a rigid body features. If we place the axis accelerometer on a measured feature points on the body, we can accurately capture the feature points to the process in motion x-axis, y-axis, z-axis component of the acceleration. With body mass and velocity, we can obtain the vehicle dynamics parameters in real time data.We uses ADI's ADXL330 accelerometer and Freescale's 9S12 microcontrollers built data acquisition platform. The motion parameters information can be handled locally, which be captured and calculated. Meanwhile, the system supports CAN bus interface, use the interface, you can get the data to the vehicle control system for a comprehensive analysis of computer processing. It has high performance, low power, low cost, large storage capacity and expansion of convenient features, can be used in automotive automatic transmission, airbag (Airbag), ABS anti-lock brakes, electronic stability program (ESP), electrical controlled suspension system and so on.We studied the CAN2.0A/B protocol, and in-depth analysis the protocol of the CAN message format, and illustrates the current development of CAN bus in automotive applications. Based on these studies, we designed the schematic Based ADXL330 and MC9S12DJ256 through Protel DXP software developed by Altium Company. Furthermore we designed PCB. Last we also designed the hardware system with ADXL33O as its core.
