With the rapid expansion of information, the traditional library could not meet the needs of practical application, the main performance is that the user can’t access to the learning resources, the traditional library collection ability to receive the origin and equipment, only in the form of text information display and other issues. In recent years, computer hardware level and computer graphics and image technology, virtual reality technology is increasingly widely used in scientific research, education, culture, entertainment and other occasions, the use of virtual reality technology can be users can’t visit the scene through the computer real-time rendering of the three dimensional images to display, to many users can’t visit to provide an immersive visual experience. To this end, this paper combines the present situation of the traditional library to develop the virtual library in the navigation system. In order to solve the problem that the traditional library is restricted by the construction area, the traditional library is to be used by the means of the multimedia display. Through the simulation of the real environment in the virtual library, the user has the feeling of immersive, and the understanding and understanding of the library from the perceptual point of view. The main research work of this paper is divided into three parts:(1) the analysis of the limitations of the traditional library, summarized the functional requirements of the virtual library roaming navigation system, and the functional requirements of the virtual library developed a virtual library design principle, and on the basis of the overall design of the system, describes the system structure, operation process.(2) according to the system requirements, the system needs to achieve the basic functions of the scene, scene roaming, scene interaction and so on. The system uses the Unity3 D engine to develop the virtual library system, and uses the 3DMax software to model the virtual architecture and objects, through the terrain, object and camera settings to complete the construction of the virtual scene, through pictures, audio, video, the way of the virtual book into a full range of display.(3) the advanced function of the system is realized by the system requirements. In Unity3 D implementation of the Astar based automatic routing algorithm, the user in the system to enter the target area of interest, the system will provide navigation. System at the same time to achieve the function of multi user management, through the recording and management of the user’s authority, allowing it to achieve the system’s roaming, to read books.Using this technology to develop a virtual library navigation system to provide users with a set of remote use of the library, the system of the relevant optimization design to ensure that users can use different personal computers, mobile phones and tablet computers and other ways to smooth access to the system, allowing users to play in the game in the Virtual Library and learning.
