In order to timely prevent mass accidents happened in factories, schools, shopping malls and other personnel intensive place, it needs in-time security monitoring and emergency response, protecting the safety of citizens’ lives and property, and also to prevent unnecessary losses in units or entertainment places. Today, with the development of modern science and technology, the application of advanced communication technology and sensor technology to implement the monitoring system and network, is significant.As this article uses the NRF24L01 as wireless communication interface, the design of monitoring and control system include the common toxic gas and fire monitoring sensor, and the function of the handling of the case of emergency. Finally all the single nodes from a wireless monitoring system managed by the server. It reduces most operating cost caused by the existing wireless monitoring and control system achieved by telecom operators. Based on the principle of low cost, complete function, stability and reliability, this article designed a security monitoring system for some personnel intensive places.This paper focuses on the security monitoring network system based on NRF24L01 wireless communication mode, and on the basis of the management system requirements analysis, it provides a overall design of the wireless monitoring network system block diagram. The design of the monitoring system includes three parts, server applications, ethernet and wireless communications conversion module, and front-end wireless monitoring system. Each front-end wireless monitoring system can cascade multiple sub monitoring and control system, which forms a tree network system, extending NRF24L01 transmission distance limitations. The server application software function is to provide users with state information, configurate each node. The front-end monitoring system is an important part of the whole system, mainly including carbon monoxide data acquisition module, temperature acquisition module, smoke acquisition module, control module, and alarm module. This paper described in detail the design of hardware and software of each module for wireless monitoring system, the results of online tests.
