Design And Implementation Of A Basic Public Health Subsystem In Community Health Service Information System

Community health service plays an important part in the health care work in city, which is the basic of public health services and basic medical care, and it is the basic link of realizing the goal that everyone can have access to primary health care. However, as an important part of developing community health services, the informatization has been in a neglected position. Grass-roots community health service institutions are in a common situation where there is a lack of basic informatization equipment and special information personnel. Therefore, developing an effective, stabilize, practical new Community health information system has a realistic meaning.In this context, we want to develope a community health service information system aimed at further promoting community health service information process. The development team developed this system based on several national standards and technical guidelines, such as “The technology of regional health information platform construction based on health records-- business scenarios” and “The technology of regional health information platform construction based on health records-- technical solution”, etc. And after the on-the-spot investigation of the business process of the community health services, the team concluded the needs analysis of the community health service information system preliminary, designed the structure of function and implementation method, and organized a group of persons to develop the system. This system is developed using Struts2 framework and the data is stored using Mysql database.The modules of this system mainly includes health record management, basic public health services, basic medical services, health information services. The system basically meet the needs of the daily business from the community, and lay the foundation for next phase of the development work and system eventually launching.
