Barcode Detection And Recognition Algorithms In Financial Report System

Financial management has played an important role in the enterprise. Especially, with the rapid development of Chinese economy, financial management has not only corporate accounts duct, but also includes financial information analysis. The complete information of financial circulation will provide important support for the enterprise decision-making, and it will influence enterprise competitiveness.Financial analysis is one of the aims of the financial management system. Financial report is the basis of financial analysis. However, so many small and medium enterprises are relatively lagging behind the financial managementat present. Most of them still use the traditional financial software which causesthe financial data could not be sharedproperly. Even some of small enterprises rely on manual accounting methods.Undoubtedly, applying barcode to improve the efficiency of data sharing will be the mostconvenientand rapid way. This paper focuses on the research aboutimage-based one dimensional barcodedetection and recognition algorithms. Firstly, an algorithm development platform is constructed. It has a notebook computer with CPU Inter Core i7 2.4GHz, 8MB Memory, a DAHENG camera with Sony ICX267 CCD and Computar 8mm lens. The software development is Visual Studio 2010 with Open CV1.0 and ZXing. This paper applies some key image processing technologiesto implement the preprocessing algorithms, such as color space transform, image enhancement, image segmentation, edge detection. Then integral projection analysis and line detection via Hough Transform are used to barcode location and tilt correction. At last, ZXing is applied to finish the barcode recognition. After the above stages, barcode detection and recognition through the camera captured imageshave been achieved.On the proposed barcode localization and recognition algorithm performance testing was carried out in the artificial production of the test set, confirmed the reliability and validity of the algorithm, which has a certain industry prospect.
