With the development of wireless communication, more and more academic schemes about wireless communication are designed by researchers. Their systematic performance is becoming better and better. However, they are merely theoretical results. It has to implement these schemes on the hardware circuits to simulate and test, especially physical layer schemes. With the requirement of specific wireless communication system, some wireless communication system platforms based on software defined radio (SDR) come into being.Wireless system platforms based on SDR consist of hardware platform and software platform. Under the concept of SDR, software platform are strengthened and hardware platform are weakened. This is negative for the real-time feature of system. And it is not to say the hardware platform is becoming simple. The system bandwidth of hardware platform is becoming wider. The design of circuits and printed circuit board (PCB) is harder because of higher work frequency.This thesis focuses on hardware platform’s design and analysis. It has two goals. One of the goals is to implement a wireless communication platform with better real-time feature. The other one is to study the design of hardware system modules, which is the base of more flexible and smart hardware.The main works and contributions of the dissertation are listed as follows:1) The design total schemes of wireless communication system. Because the signal carrier frequency is low, the structure of the system is directly modem. The synchronization is designed with the total design of system.2) Analysis and simulation of the functional modules of the system’s circuits. It includes the principle of circuits and the design and layout of PCB. This thesis proposes a practical solution for matching circuits.3) System’s software control, signal processing and debugging. It uses FPGA to control the system. By system debugging, it works well.
