With the rapid development of technology, the use of traffic safety and traffic f acilities has become an obstacle to the development of the city. The expansion of ci ty scale and the increase of city population have brought not only great developmen t opportunity, but also caused huge pressure to the city traffic. Changing traffic con ditions and improving the use efficiency of transportation facilities are the only way to meet the increasing demand. Among them, the construction of intelligent transpo rtation facilities is an effective way to solve.There are many disadvantages of the traditional transport facilities which has be en unable to meet the growing traffic demand. The traditional manual management of parking lot has been unable to meet the needs of urban traffic, the ability to qui ckly adjust the traffic distribution. Parking lot will be built in large scale. The num ber of vehicles in parking lots is huge and the management difficulty is increasing. So it is necessary to develop and transform the intelligent control. The intelligent m onitoring and management of the parking lot is the use of the new technology to c arry out the whole automation management, improve the management of safety, relia bility and validity. Because of the use of artificial management, thereby reducing the time and space of the personnel error or fraud caused by the loss, greatly improvi ng the safety, economy and efficiency of the parking lot.This paper combines PLC control technology and configuration software monito ring technology, presents a scheme of design and implementation of PLC monitoring system based on the underground parking lot. The system consists of four parts, th e first part is composed of the ladder diagram program of PLC control system. The second part discusses the real-time monitoring system using PLC configuration soft ware configuration command language. The third part is the backstage database, stor e parking lot parking spaces for each current state. The fourth part is the interface program, the parking lot parking spaces for each current state and the specified rout es is displayed.Installation of photoelectric switch in the parking lot is at the top of each park ing space, photoelectric switch signal output pin is connected to the PLC input term inal. According to the electrical characteristics of the photoelectric switch, when the vehicle into the parking place, the light is blocked and the input to a high level c an be detected by PLC. The PLC input signal is detected, the implementation of th e corresponding operation. Configuration software to monitor the signal, change the database specified content. According to the parking plan structure design, data struc ture, to achieve the shortest path from the entrance to each parking space to improv e the shortest path algorithm. The parking state information and the shortest route t o real-time is displayed. To effectively solve the parking problem of parking, and i mproves the safety and usage of parking.
