With the continuous development of economy and increasing urbanization, people begin to rely on the car when they go out,so the automobile holdings continues to grow. But the supply of the parking facilities are lack, we can see heavy traffic everywhere and many cars have no parking place.At the same time, the management of the parking is poor and unscientific, resulting in the efficiency of parking is very low and it causes great pressure to the traffic. So intelligent parking is a problem that need to solve in urgent.The system of mobile parking guidance is a study to this problem.To solve the above problem, we need to concern two key issues:the first one is that we need to find a nearby parking and tell driver the route and the second one is that driver can find an empty parking space when they drive into the parking. The core of this work is to solve this two problem. The client of this work is based on the android platform, because the number of smartphone users are increasing, it is convenient for people to use. In this work, we realized three functions:positioning itself before the trip, finding a nearby parking and returning an empty parking space. Specific solutions as follows:(1) For positioning and navigation, we use the baidu map to locate the user and find nearby parking. It can save driver’s time when finding the parking, save enery and ease traffic pressure.(2) For indoor navigation, we use infrared sensor to identify an empty parking and transmit this message to the server, then the server use the dijkstra algorithm to find the shortest path. At last, the server transmit this path to the client and client show this path to driver. Driver can find the parking place easily using this path, meanwhile, it is facilitate to the management of the parking.
