Design And Implementation Of The High School Affiliated To Chifeng University Online Examination System Based On LAMP

In recent years, with the rapid development of computer science and internet technology, it brings many conveniences for our life. Internet technologies have been widely applied to varied trades to facilitate people’s work. As a result, the information technology has been extended deep into various fields of the world. Education field has begun to accept and use these technologies. As an important aspect of education, examination already started to use network environment. Online examination system has been used to replace the original examination mode more and more, which not only can save the resources and make it easy, but also can make the exam more convenient. Focusing on own work practice, the author designs and implements the online examination system of High School Affiliated of Chifeng University.According to the aspects of system security, availability and economic considerations, the open resource software – LAMP is used to develop the system. LAMP is a set of development client application components. Because its application convenience and free of charge, LAMP gets the majority of developers special favors. Especially, because of the open resource feature, many of components of LAMP could be timely updated. We build the online examination system by LAMP, running on Linux system, using the Apache server and based on the My SQL database. The development language is used by PHP.In this paper, we will focus on examination system based on LAMP, mainly analyze the development of the theory and practice of the application of the system. The system architecture model is based on MVC structure. Using object oriented method, the system contains many function modules, such as user module, item bank module, test paper module, examination module, checking module, and so on. Teachers can make the management of item bank module and test paper module through the login system, and to make correction for students submitted papers as well. Students can participate in the examination system and query test results through the login system.This paper adopts software engineering method, introduces the system background, significance, development environment and related technology, and then starts from the system demand, describes in detail the design and realization of the system part, finally lists screenshots corresponding to the system operation, display, and complete the corresponding function test.
