In recent years, the intelligent wearable device shows a good market foreground. Many companies have targeted the emerging field and developed some innovative intelligent wearable devices. These devices are not only hardware devices,but also providing powerful functions through software support,data interaction and cloud interaction. Because of some characteristics of the intelligent device, it has some advantages in the field of health care. A lot of different kinds of health care intelligent devices are popular in the market. In order to catch the intelligent wearable device market, a way must be found to improve the availability of devices and to enhance the function of the software. According to the research and analysis for the product market, a company has invented a kind of the intellective thermometer device and developed the corresponding software.This paper designs and develops a temperature monitoring software based on Android platform. This software is mainly to provide service and support fora intellective thermometer device. Because of the main purpose of the product is the temperature monitoring and alarm for abnormality, the key function of this software is real-time monitoring. Alarm methods include animation tips and ring tone alert. Beside real-time monitoring function, there are login function, historical data query function, settings management function in the software. Real-time monitoring function includes the chart display function, animation display function, high temperature alarm function, user switching function, and the function of creating user from a dialog. Historical data query function includes the query according to time function, query according to the calendar function, the basal body temperature function. Settings management includes personal information management function and modifying function.In the phase of system analysis and design, UML is used for analysis. the use case diagram of the body temperature monitoring system is drawn, then each use case is described in detail. And then activity diagram and the sequence diagram and analysis object diagram for each use case is drawn. Class diagram which is designed after the design of database is designed according to the analysis object diagram. After the implementation of the software, black box testing has been done on the software,to find that the temperature monitoring software realizes the customer’s requirements completely.Design and development of the software is based on android platform, using the MVC pattern of development. In the design of the software framework, popular technologies are used, including drawer technology and the navigation bar paging technology. Using these frameworks makes the software operate more smoothly, and the UI is improved a lot. In addition, during the detailed design phase, two kinds of design pattern are adopted according to the analysis of the function. They are the singleton pattern and the observer pattern, the usage of software design pattern can reduce the overall coupling, and enhance the scalability of the software. Because the user of the product is family member, alive design style is used during design, and user experience has been paid attention to.
