Study On The Management Strategy Of Uni Versity Library Based On User’s Needs

The development and popularization of computer and Internet have importa nt influence on the development of library。While they promote the development of the library, they put the library in an open environment with dramatic compet ition。The rapid dissemination of knowledge and information makes the requireme nts of library user groups to change continually, which promotes the continuous d evelopment of library management and service function in turn.From the perspective of users’ requirements, the management strategy of mod ern university libraries in China is studied deeply in the article. Firstly, after the related theory on library management and users’ needs is combed, the necessity of discussing management strategy of University Library based on user’s needs is pointed out. Secondly, taking the China West Normal University library users as the investigated object of user demands, we understand the currently university l ibrary users’ requirements through the investigation and analysis; Finally, combinin g the needs of users, we discuss the currently high school library management s trategy from five dimensions of the internal organization, resource, technology, spac e and service.In the discussion of management strategy in university library based on user’s needs, the measures that the library should take are put forward. Firstly, optimize organization management by optimizing management mode, improving business process, optimizing organizational structure and implementing team management. Secondly, optimize technology management by expanding the library resources and assisting service. Thirdly, optimize space management by expanding the physical space and extending virtual space. Fourthly, optimize resources management through the improvement of human resource and the perfection of information resources. Fifthly, innovate university library service models to diversitification by the innovated university library service pattern of the multi-subject participation, in which key points are emphasized while the diversity is considered.
