In the field of outdoor wireless location, GPS(Global Positioning System) is undoubtedly the most successful and most famous radio positioning system. But when you need to locate objects located indoors, because of the indoor environment has serious indoor shelter and Non-Line-Of-Sight(NLOS) noise interference, GPS can’t cover the indoor environment, basically can’t successful positioning in the indoor environment. Thus other positioning technology must be adopt to resolve these issues, such as radio frequency identification technology. Therefore, it has important theoretical and practical significance to develop a suitable indoor wireless environment positioning system.In this paper, based on a variety of indoor positioning arithmetic were studied, the final selection of RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indication) positioning, and RSSI arithmetic is usually realized by RFID(Radio Frequency Identification). RFID technology has the feature of transmitting identifying information via radio waves, and it can quickly track objects and data exchange without space constraints. Because RFID has advantages of NLOS identification and non-contact, etc., it has become one of the preferred indoor positioning methods. On the basis of in-depth study of indoor wireless location identification system based on RFID, a work in 2.4G Hz frequency identification of indoor positioning systems has been designed and implemented. The system uses TI’s CC2530 chip and peripheral circuits as RF communications section. The main work includes:(1): The system framework design: The choice of active passive RFID system and the choice of work frequency band.(2) The system hardware design: Electronic tag and reader’s structure design, selection of electronic chips, circuit schematic design and PCB board.(3) Working principle of the system: Indoor wireless location identification system based on RFID in the working process of the reader and electronic tag and the collision process, etc.(4) The system test: Test and verify system, record and analysis test data.
