Research On CIS Image Acquisition And Processing Technology

The intergrated circuit industry in our contry had been experience a prominant development with the rapidly change of the technology processing and the increasing support that our contry off ered to the integrated circuit entreprise.However,the field of the CMOS image sensor in China is so weak that to advance the development and the application of CMOS image sensor had been an significant mission right now.This paper will research on developing the image acquisition system based on a 16 M pixels CMOS image sensor application system so as to support its application including digital back, digital camera, intelligent monitoring,, intelligent home, video meeting system and so on.This paper will study something including taking DaVinci series of video processor TMS320DM6467 from American TI’ Firm as main processing chip to acquire the image of CIS. CIS(CMOS Image Sensor) output RAW image data to the FPGA. FPGA sent the data to the TMS320DM6467 after logical conversion. TMS320DM6467 finally sent the image to the LCD display module after a series of image processing algorithms or sent the image to the host computer display software through Ethernet.This paper focuses on the software environment construction of the image acquisition system, the research on the automatic white balance algorithm of image process, the coding and debug of CIS driver and the related image processing algorithms implementation at the TMS320DM6467 platform. What’s more, it has done some test and analysis on the CIS image acquisition realization process and the image quality.
