Economic globalization leads to resources worldwide free circulation, for valuable development resources, more and more cities focus on image building and spread to the city for development. On this background, more in-depth perspective and analysis of Yinchuan are made in this paper. Make relevant recommendations and strategies on the basis of the principle of the Yinchuan city image building and communication.In the first part, do an overall elaboration including content analysis of historical, cultural, political and other aspects of Yinchuan, while the use of survey methods to understand the residents of Yinchuan image recognition and image.In the second part, on the perspective of the cultural capital city of Yinchuan I find the most unique and core of the three characteristics with the strengths and weaknesses of the city’s image, and ultimately proposed a new Yinchuan city image positioning. Then on the principle of city image and cultural capital, festival activities are proposed in Yinchuan city image communication activities.City Image Communication is significant, wish this study provide some help to Yinchuan city image building and dissemination.
