The optical antenna took an structure which is composed of six reflectors, it can track different targets in the same time, and it is the core structure of the technology of one-to-many laser communication. Tracking performance is an essential determinant for evaluating the reliability of the optical antenna. The primary task is to build a set of test system to measure it’s tracking performance.After the analysis of the principle of the optical antenna, we decided to provide a simulated target source to it, so we can judge it’s traceability through the analysis of the tracking process. To test the traceability of different targets at the same time of the optical antenna, we need to design two sets of target simulators. We must control the pointing accuracy and the speed stability of the target simulators to guarantee it’s reliability, so we need to design a test plan to test these two technical parameters, then we could optimize the structure of the optical antenna depend on the test result.We can test the traceability of the optical antenna with code error tester and collimating device, and we get the following results finally. It’s communication distance is more than 50 kilometers, and it’s tracking precision precede 50μrad. In the end, the conclusion is the optical antenna can support the technology of one-to-many laser communication powerfully.
