Communications is been developing for high capacity and high speed, as to optical intersatellite communications, it occupies merits as high bit-rate, low power consumption, anti-jamming etc, it is promising. The keys to implement optical intersatellite communications technologies are the ATP (Acquisition, Tracking, Pointing) and so on.The marginal from optical intersatellite communications originates from optical intersatellite communications transceiver, in orbit, it's nothing to do with amending, so the design of the technical parameters of optical intersatellite communications transceiver is quite strict. And to test properly will guarantee the quality of the transceiver, of course, the testing must be reliable.The project is to develop a transceiver of and to test it accurately. This paper dedicates to test the tracking precision of the proposed optical intersatellite communications transceiver accurately.Firstly, the characteristics and the pivotal technologies are expounded, the status quo and the direction are studied, the performance of the ATP system is analyzed, the configuration, the theory and the process of employment of the optical intersatellite communications ATP system are presented detailedly, some pivotal parameters are analyzed, the pivotal technologies of the optical intersatellite communications ATP system are put forward. Then, the testing theory are presented detailedly, the methods to test the dynamic tracking precision of the transceiver are analyzed, the testing system is achieved, the performance of the hardware of the ATP system is analyzed. Finally, the robust way to test is acquired, the feasibility of the testing scheme is analyzed and demonstrate detailedly. The testing result is achieved by the scheme and is analyzed detailedly.
