3D printing is a kind of material manufacturing technology, which has a wide range of application, such as medical electronic mechanical and aerospace. Desktop 3D printing also has been in office,family and other fields.because it has low cost and small volume. But The existing control system of desktop 3D printer mostly depends on foreign open source system. It has some disadvantages in control precision, data processing ability and function expansion. Therefore, this paper uses DSP, DSP has strong digital signal processing ability and many function modules.Using it to control system of desktop 3D printing.By using TMS320F2812 of DSP as the main chip. First, it can realize the communication between computer and control system and escape character by using SCI serial communication.Then, by using the PWM wave to control stepper motor drives so as to realize the control of the four Stepper motor’s speed, displacement and linkage. Finally,the temperature acquisition, temperature control system and a heating device formed a closed loop system, it realizes the constant temperature control of the 3D printing head through the incremental PID algorithm to control the voltage of heating device.The system do tests and experiments based on 3D printing platform so as to ensure ideal temperature and the matching relations between X, Y axis and the speed of wire feed motor.Experiment results show that when the temperature is about 240 ℃, the speed of X, Y axis is about 50 mm/s, the speed of wire feeding motor is 25 mm/s, then the whole system will work well and the print quality will be good.
