The Research For Media Image Of Nation Image In China Daily’s Headlines After 18th Party Congress Of CPC

As one of the international media, China Daily has built a great influence in the world. This study is divided into two parts: the first part is to find the difference of China Daily’s headlines before and after the 18 th Party Congress of CPC through comparative research; the second part is to use frame theory to analyze the different headlines which is identified through the comparative research on the basis of the first part, then to come to the conclusion of the media image of China Nation Image.In the first part, we find national news on China Daily’s headlines has changed much which is opposite to the international news. Aftre the 18 th party congress of CPC, China Daily’s headlines try to seek a balance in political, economic and social news, among which the political news has increased a lot. In the second part, we find the China Daily’s headlines after the 18 th party congress of CPC focus on all-dimensional reform in political and economic field, express the no-tolerance to corruption, turn to economic policy from the economic condition and pay attention to legal construction.Finally on the basis of two phase of research, the essay summarize the characteristics of the media image of China Nation Image after the 18 th party congress of CPC.
