Study On The Narrative Framework Of Role Reversal Reality Show X-Change

In recent years, our country appears a lot of reality show in satellite TV station and local TV station,creating a new wave of high audience rating and academic research upsurge.However,there is few of role reversal reality show on TV,and research on it is few,especially on its narrative framework. More researches will benefit for the development of China’s role reversal reality showThis paper selects the most successful role reversal reality show in China,which called X-Change,and choose the whole year programs in 2014 to analyze.This paper takes samples of X-Change in 2014,totally 55 X-Changers either in city or rural as object of study,trying to use the reality show elements of narrative framework to analyze.And uses content analysis research method, text analysis and depth interview method to research the narrative framework of the reality show,and the construction process of the narrative framework,and its limitation and significance.The study concluded that,the construction of narrative framework of X-Change is under the conflict.The production team built the construction from 7 elements in advance,which are narrative subject,narrative plot, narrative power requirements, narrative time, narrative details and strengthen, through the drama of conflict between the city and the rural, X-Changers and environment, X-Changer and X-Changer. benefits for reality show production and program purpose.But there has problems of inequality, and one sidedness.Thus may has impact on the function of media,and the life cycle of role reversal reality show.
