Internet Era 2.0, new medias start the media revolution, every newspaper organization use the "omnimedia" strategy to go against the new media. China newspaper industry in the primary stage of transformation with the "omnimedia" strategy to deal with, although solved the problem of information dissemination channels, but did not solve the operational problem. This paper use case analysis method, the quantitative analysis method, comprehensive analysis of 10 years of domestic and foreign newspaper transformation methods and paths in the process, combing our country’s newspaper in all media transformation in the exploration and practice in the face of "omnimedia" dilemma and" full format" misunderstanding. In order to solve the newspaper transformation dilemma to try to put forward some crack recipe, get rid of the collective myth of the Chinese journalists, the author, through the use of economic theory of meaning, Southern Metropolis Daily, Zhejiang Daily Press Group as the main research object, systematically studied their transformation course and experience, summed up the characteristics of their own development of the "new format" strategic victories, innovatively put forward: transformation of newspaper to use the "new format strategy" when entering the era of "Internet +",and define “the new format”. According to newspaper new format of system research, the paper summed up the two kinds of transformation" new format of the feasible path: one is in the Southern Metropolis Daily path for the sample has focused on the extension of the main advantages of incremental expansion of the "new format", the other is to Zhejiang Daily newspaper group capital operation to reinvent the wheel of sample, "new format" path of user needs oriented to provide the diversified social service. In addition, for the newspaper industry winter theory, the paper also proposed Internet + to the newspaper industry new format which brought unlimited view.
