Ultimately found that only the concept of ecomuseum can resolve the sharp contradiction effectively between the economic development and the cultural heritage protection in the areas that the economic backwardness but the culture unique. Ecomuseum is the optimal way to cultural heritage protection in ethnic minority areas: It is different from the new protection of cultural heritage of traditional museum, it emphasizes the living protection of all the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of this area, stresses the central role of the residents in the protection of cultural heritage, and stresses the special attention to the protection of intangible cultural heritage. Specifically, to face the situation that the worrying of the protection and the backward of the economic, the problem "development and protection" can be resolved only by Ecomuseum, it can make people and community live on the road of sustainable development, and make the protection of cultural heritage and socio-economic development to achieve a harmonious coexistence of state.The main contents of this thesis include: definitions of the Ecomuseum, researches on the background of the Ecomuseum and practical descriptiones on worldwide of the Ecomuseums; analyses on all kinds of the cultural heritage of Xiangjiaba by using the trend analysis method(SWOT), explorations of the necessity and feasibility on the construction of the Ecomuseum, design of the Ecomuseum’s construction planning, the planning area for the whole range of Xiangjiaba area, The implementation period of the planning for the 2013 to 2020, The basic structure of planning for the "one center, two categories, a plurality of display area".
