In the modern war, when tanks or armored vehicles by projectile impact, very likely caused by its internal storage tank fire or explosion problem, the two explosion will cause damage more serious, even fatal injury. In order to maximize avoid these injuries must give fire extinguisher tanks or armored vehicles equipped more efficient. And the core part of the device is the flame detector, its performance will largely to find key and put out the fire effect.At this stage for the flame studies usually have spectral method and image method two, the so-called spectral method is according to different detection band spectrometer into the ultraviolet, visible light and infrared detection. Because the single equipment research has its limitation, usually circumstances we can only within a certain range of spectrum. The so-called image method is mainly combustion flame image collected by high-speed camera to carry on the analysis on the flame temperature and combustion efficiency, this method only uses the flame visible information, its research content has the certain limitation.In this paper, in order to be more comprehensive and in-depth study on flame characteristics, flame spectroscopy as well as the first image test and analysis system of manufacture, this system for the standard ignition platform, SR-5000 infrared spectrometer, AvasSpec-2048 UV spectrometer and high speed CCD camera as a discrete device, designed the control platform is a comprehensive, this platform under the supporting key panel and control related operating software, can let a device start to work alone, but also can realize the two device or multiple devices at the same time synchronization acquisition starts and the data, finally get the spectrum data target the flame within the full band(200nm to 14.5 μ m), but also can be the flame image corresponding to every frame.On the other hand, strategy results combined with integrated test system under the mode of the different measurement, the flame characteristics of a comprehensive in-depth analysis and study. The average temperature of the flame spectra, emission spectra and flame emissivity, generating substance, flicker frequency and other radiation characteristics are analyzed; the flame digital image and flame charge surface position, the flame’s area and average gray calculation methods are discussed. In the article,the flame was detected by the equipment including SR5000 infrared spectrum detector and AvaSpec-2048 UV spectrum detector and the data of infrared and UV can be gained. The spectrum data can be inputted to the Storage and Analysis System of flame spectrum data and be analyzed by it.At the end of the flame detectors are discussed, associating the performance requirements of flame detector and spectral graph showing the flame characteristics, the characteristics of parameter detector of matching design quantitative.
