Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) is the key component of industrial control systems. PLC is a very sophisticated electronic equipment. It’s application environment is full of all kinds of interference signals. Because stability is very important for industrial control systems, electromagnetic compatibility is an important indicator of the PLC products.The purpose of this project is to study the PLC hardware design technology, electromagnetic compatibility technology for product design, to achieve an excellent electromagnetic compatibility, anti-interference ability, high stability of the PLC products.The topic of programmable controller hardware design process, will be the first use of modular design of programmable overall product architecture design. Then analyze the national standard GB/T 15969 of PLC, to develop EMC technical specifications of PLC.Depth study of the theoretical knowledge of EMC for electromagnetic compatibility design laid a theoretical foundation. PLC products in the design process of many cell circuit, full use of EMC design techniques, making products with good electromagnetic compatibility.Finally, Functionality, performance and electromagnetic compatibility testing on the prototype of the PLC verify the effectiveness of the design and electromagnetic compatibility issues of hardware design.
