Nowadays, with the widely use of antibiotics in clinical care, the irrational use of antibiotics and abuse cases have often occurred, which is a serious threat to the patients’ health. For this reason, many medical institutions have begun to explore the way of rational use of antibiotics and establish internal monitoring systems. However, on one hand, the function of the current antibiotics-related system within the hospital is still relatively simple, it can’t give a comprehensive analysis of the use distribution of antibiotics. On the other hand, we lack the analysis and recommendations on the rational use of antibiotics. The traditional treatment process is mainly aimed at a common medical process for a disease. However, the antibiotic regimen has its particularity and complexity, which has requirements for the type and amount of the drugs. Further the treatment is often based on patients’ characteristics, and therefore a certain mining method for antibiotics regimen is needed.This paper analyzes the current situation and the main issues raised in the usage of antibiotics. we build an antibiotics monitoring data warehouse platform. On one hand, the platform provides the multi-dimensional data analysis of antibiotics in the region. On the other hand, it explores the treatment process of different people and different development of disease by analyzing the history of antibiotics usage. The main work of this paper is as follows:1、The design of architecture for the antibiotics monitoring platform.By analyzing of the antibiotics monitoring requirements and the issue of antibiotics, we design the architecture of monitoring platform for antibiotics data warehouse. The platform includes a data source layer, data storage layer, application layer and a data access control layer.2、The design of storage architecture for antibiotic data warehouse and multi-dimension model.To fulfill the query for hospitals and health departments, we design the storage architecture of antibiotics data warehouse. It includes the storage layer, storage mapping layer and access control layer. Meanwhile, we design the corresponding ETL process and multi-dimension data model for the antibiotic data.3、The design of analytical method for antibiotics dosage regimen based on case sequence set.We apply the process mining to the analysis of antibiotics medication. A method based on case sequence set for process mining on antibiotics usage is proposed. The algorithm mined the process of drug usage for different development of disease based on the medication history from different patients, combining theory and methods of Linked Data, providing suggestion for the doctors’ regimen. Differentiated regimen are carried according to the characteristics of the patients, which providing suggestion to doctors’ medications.The antibiotics monitoring platform proposed in the paper using data warehouse and other related technology implements the analysis of regional antibiotics, fulfilling the need of hospital antibiotics scientific management. It helps doctors get scientific guidance to make the antibiotic regimen by studying the program of antibiotic regimen. At the same time, the method can improve the medication regimen based on the patient’s disease development, and to promote the rational and standardized use of antibiotics in clinical application.
