The Design And Implementation Of Indoor Security And Protection Alarm System Based On Zigbee Technology

With the continuous progress of city and city population density increasing, the security problem in the city has become increasingly prominent. The people are also getting more attention on the potential threat of living environment, so the residential indoor security and protection alarm system has received more and more attention and application in protecting people’s daily life. Zigbee is a new wireless communication technology developed in recent years. It has the characteristics of reliable transmission, low power consumption, simple network.In this thesis, the design of indoor security and protection alarm system based on Zigbee technology has been using the microprocessor chip PIC18F4620+Zigbee RF chip CC2420 as the core. Through the wireless sensor network, this thesis has been realizing the real-time monitoring of indoor environmental condition and the monitoring illegal intrusion alarm. System using the mature wireless communication technology of Zigbee to transform the security and protection alarm system from wired communication mode to wireless. This greatly simplifies the construction and wiring, and it reduces the cost of installation. At the same time, Wireless network system which built up through the Zigbee technology made the system upgrade and maintenance becomes more easily.The Zigbee technology has been further researched in this thesis. This thesis introduces the Zigbee hierarchy, protocol stack and network topology structure in details and puts forward the hardware and software design scheme for indoor security and protection alarm system based on Zigbee technology. According to the concrete apartment layout, This thesis proposes the specific installation position of fire detector, passive infrared detector, magnetic switch intrusion detectors, glass-break detectors, gas leak detector and a detailed description of its working principle and performance. Finally, this thesis expounds the initialization and networking process of Zigbee equipments and also proposes the operation flow chart of Zigbee equipments.
