As a kind of intelligent machine who can do works for human beings, robots are suitable for high-complicated, high-risk and high-urgency job.Recent years, they are widely used in fire rescues and science explores.Meanwhile it's proved that using multi-robotic system can achieve complicated tasks better through their cooperations.Now it has become a hot point of sciencetific researches.And among the multi-robotic system, communication is the foundation of their cooperations.With such background, this paper does some studies on a high robust, low consumption and smooth communication intelligent network, which can meet the communication requirements of multi-robotic system.This paper begins with a review of the research on multi-robotic system and ad hoc technology. After careful analysis of the project requirements, the energy-efficient Zigbee standard is chosen as the basic network protocol and CC2420 is chosen as the wireless transceiver correspondingly.After a brief introduction of Zigbee standard and CC2420, this paper turn to the process of network development in both hardware and softwar, especially forcus on the hardware design and problem-analyse.Hardware works include chip selection, pin distributing, schematic and PCB design, circuit analyse and on-site experiment.We choose LPC2138 (ARM7) as our control chip, and CC2420 (Zigbee) as our communication chip.Software works include chip configuration, driver making, protocol transplant and MMI design.
