The main content of this paper is through EPA(Ethernet for Plant Automation) implementation multiple volume process of the double model control analysis be the example of the three water-tanks. Three water-tank control system is an abstract model of contents object in industrial production process. What can simulate contents, orders, nonlinear, and coupled or uncoupled characteristics, and so on. In order to determine the merits of the performance of the control strategy.Firstly, the mathematical model of single water-tank, double water-tank is gradually through the mechanism modeling method, and then found out three water-tank mathematical formula. Using the experimental measured data, obtained three water-tank mathematical model:Simple PID control for three water-tanks with multi-level high inertia characteristics are difficult to achieve effective control, aiming at this disadvantage, we introduce the fuzzy controller with PID controllers used in conjunction to achieve effective control of three water-tanks in this paper, that is double model controller. This paper illustrated and analyzed the principle of PID and fuzzy controller, the fuzzy PID controller in Simulink was designed detailed. According to the mathematical model of three water-tank has been obtained, three water-tank process was simulated. Simulation curve shows that the fuzzy PID control isresponse faster and better than traditional PID control effect. The double model control multiple volume process can significantly improve the control quality.The research introduction of EPA(Ethernet for Plant Automation) for three water-tanks process double model control problem. In this paper, by analyzing the advantages of EPA, choose EPA as the design of the control network. EPA configuration software(EPA_Configuration) is used to analyse the existing laboratory equipment configuration of communication. And succeed after this, import the EPA files generated after communication into the monitoring configuration software(Advan Trol-Pro(V2.65)), monitoring configuration design. generate configuration screen automatically. And real-time communication and monitoring with laboratory three water-tanks test equipment after the design is completed. Experiment results show that the double model control used in the multiple volume process more feasible and quality improved significantly.
