With the development of wireless communication, microelectronic and sensor technology, Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) has been widely used in various fields, such as military, medical, transportation and household. It also has been attracted wide attention by researchers at home and abroad. With the application of wireless sensor network, the security problems mainly come from the limited resources, uncertain deployment area and unsafe wireless communication situation. Key management is the foundation of the communication security and it provides the security of data and information for the wireless link in WSN. This thesis is aimed at providing more suitable key management scheme for wireless sensor network. The main work is as follows:(1) The security problems of WSN, security requirements of WSN and security goals of key management scheme are summarized and analyzed. The overseas and domestic study actuality of key agreement and key pre-distribution is also analyzed in detail.(2) A pairing-free certificateless group key agreement protocol is proposed to decrease the high computational overhead of group key agreement protocol in WSN. In this protocol, the session key is generated by utilizing scalar multiplication to reduce the computational overhead. Finally, this thesis analyzes computational overhead and communication cost. The results show this protocol can not only ensure security of node communication, but also reduce computational overhead.(3) A pairing-free certificateless key pre-distribution scheme is proposed to solve the security and inefficient authentication problems, which is based on symmetric key in WSN. The scheme introduces certificateless public key cryptography to ensure the security of nodes. This scheme adds node authentication to ensure the security of identity information. Finally, this thesis analyzes local connectivity, resilience against sensor capture, computational overhead and communication cost. The results show this scheme can not only improve the local connectivity and ability of resilience against sensor capture, but also reduce computational overhead.(4) Due to the complexity of key management scheme, the new certificateless simulation system is designed which based on the platform of OMNeT++. The new system provides the phase of key establishment, the phase of key agreement, and so on. It contains parameters initialization, key distribution, key agreement and session key establishment in certificateless encryption system. At last, the system also provides the corresponding algorithm interfaces.
