Ad Hoc network is a kind of wireless network built by mobile terminals without wireless network infrastructures, and it has many characteristics such as self-organization, no centrality and dynamic topology. Therefore, Ad Hoc network can be widely used in the field military communications, disaster relief and so on. However, the network links in Ad Hoc network are unstable and vulnerable to many malicious attacks because the nodes in Ad Hoc network only have limited battery power and computing capacity, the wireless channel is open and the node's mobility is high. The traditional security technology based on encryption and authentication only can provide static protection for data and identity, and it is not likely to defend the inside attack and the problem caused by mobility and unreliability. So the trust management mechanism is introduced to Ad Hoc network`s secure routing technology, but the existing research only considers how to establish trust-based routing mechanism and ignore the secure problems about delivering trust value. The trust value is facing the challenges of being tampered or forged by malicious nodes.Based on the above analysis, in the thesis the security mechanism to protect control messages in the trusted Ad Hoc network is researched and the obtained results are as follows:1. Considering the features of limited computing capacity and no fixed infrastructure in Ad Hoc networks, a no-pair certificateless public key signature algorithm and a no-pair certificateless key agreement algorithm are proposed respectively for authenticating and encrypting control messages. Then the two algorithms are proved under the Random Oracle model. In addition, the analysis of computational complexity shows that the proposed algorithm has high efficiency.2. Based on the proposed no-pair certificateless public key algorithms, a method to authenticate and deliver control messages in Ad Hoc networks is presented. In this method,an AODV based scheme for authenticating control messages called CL-TAODV is given. In the CL-AODV, no-pair certificateless signature and key agreement is used to implement authentication and encryption. Analysis shows that the proposed method has high security and computing efficiency.
