Design And Implementation Of Automatic Station System Of Government Website

Having gone through two stages: technology-oriented stage and content-oriented stage, Chinese government websites are currently at the service-oriented stage, a platform for information, communication as well as public service. At this stage, government websites should aim to construct an E-service platform, keeping pace with the service-oriented government. In order to achieve this, it is required to integrate the resources of original websites and innovate on them, to form a new security mode to manage the service and running of the websites, to build a technical supporting platform with better functions and more secure technology, and to set up a content management system which agrees with the service orientation. The construction of governmental portal websites involves the construction of numerous sub-websites and integration of existing websites and IS resources. In order to build a whole set of mode of management, service and operation, a technical supporting platform with perfect functions and high flexibility is a must, namely, ‘Content Management System’.This thesis discusses the modes and key technologies of ‘Content Management System’ in building government websites as well as relevant management systems. ‘Content Management System’ is a service-type E-government content management system, aiming to support the improvement of the openness of government affairs and the level of government services. It focuses on the plans of government websites set up by governments at all levels. It has achieved the integration of the core aspects of the websites: self-help website construction, government information acquisition, combination and publishment, ect.The content management system puts emphasis on information resources sharing. It has achieved digitization of information, integration of information storage, transfer and inquiry, fairly showing the portability and expandability. The system has the merits of good centralized management pattern. It adopted some key technologies, such as Spring, Struts2, Hibernate and Freemarker to do research, having achieved visual generation of modules and smart web-building system. Completely based on the browser’s operational interface, it is easy to set up and manage websites.Modules of the content management system include site columns, article management, interaction management, plan and schedule, selected business, statistical analysis and system management. Each module has its own function, which makes the system design satisfy the requirements of business. The system also provides customization service of personalized content and interface design. At the same time, security of the system is fully protected.In terms of functions, the content management system totally satisfies the requirements of self-help construction for government websites with its efficient and stable nature. With the development of IT, the deeper and more extensive research will be carried out to make the system better, aiming to provide a more powerful and easier-to-use system for the government website construction.
