With the development of SAR and its increasing ability to access information, it becomes more and more significant in electronic warfare. As an essential part of SAR ECM, the in-depth study on deception jamming technology is of great importance. However, most of the current SAR deception jamming methods still remains in a low level, which is difficult to reflect the authenticity of the target, as the signals have little similarities with the real ones. Therefore, the study on how to generate SAR deception images with high degrees of similarity should be the most important.First of all, this paper introduces SAR deception jamming and its basic principles, then emphasizes on the properties of SAR image. According to it, in this paper, the author tried to simulate scene reconstruction use statistical distribution model and the scattering center model of SAR, but found that the results reveal that neither of the two models could achieve a high degree of similarity of SAR deception jamming. Here comes the key problem of SAR deception jamming that how to generate a deception scene with certainty and random information.Furthermore, to resolve the problem on how to generate SAR deception scene with certainty and random information, deception jamming algorithm is proposed, which is based on incremental scattering distribution, and analyzed in each step of algorithm and simulation. The specific requirements of how to select deception scenes are obtained according to the analyses of superposition characteristic of SAR scenes. Afterwards, the study focuses on how to generate the final deception scene quickly. Then it is proposed the establishment of the template library, and uses the template to generate deception scene. During the process, texture synthesis method used to change the size to adjust to the template, and by studying the gray-scale transformation function, a kind of deception scene amplitude modulation algorithms is obtained. As the superposition of deceptive scenes and real scenes do not reach the expectations, the increment scattering distribution superposition is chose as a new deception jamming strategy. The analyses have solved the edge problems and negative problems when calculating the increment scattering distribution.Last but not least, four kinds of assessment criteria of deception jamming effectiveness are introduced and the whole process of deception jamming algorithm is put forward, which is based on the increment of false scattering distribution. In addition, deception jamming algorithm simulation is applied to SAR texture scene and the evaluations of the effects have been done. An improved deception strategy, based on the algorithm mentioned above on account of camouflage, is proposed for the target in SAR scenes and it has been simulated and evaluated. As a conclusion, the deception jamming algorithm based on increment scattering distribution, it has good effect with simulation of the texture of the scene, which reached requirements of the high degree of similarity with the deception jamming. However, the camouflage algorithm is not effective for target identification for machines, even though it is deceptive enough for human eyes. Since there are some limitations, the algorithm needs to be improved.
