With the development of information technology, the investment of computer hardware and networking technology have been greatly improved in the local public security system. In order to further motivate the working enthusiasm of public security police, and solve the problems in performance appraisal management, it is necessary to design a management system to meet the actual needs of public security, which is efficient, scientific and reasonable police performance appraisal management software system.Based on B/S structure, the Web system is an efficient, safe and stable application platform for creating interactive and distributed application; one can visit the system without the span of location and time, so that users can access the application via the Internet anytime and anywhere. Using B/S architecture police performance management system can further enhance the level of informatization of the public security system, to improve the management level of the public security system and generate the solid foundation. The management system is developed by ASP.NET technology, the database is using SQL Server 2008, and the code is written using C# language to serve as the script language. ASP.NET 2010 developing plantform is proposed by Microsoft, and deeply welcomed by the developers as the majority of dynamic web technology.Police performance management system based on B/S architecture, the purpose is the performance appraisal into the routine works, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the work of the police. In the appraisal process, give full play to the initiative of each basic unit organization, the introduction of competition mechanism to promote the public security police in daily work. The basic unit leading to further clarify the management authority and responsibilities of staff allocation, to improve work quality and level of service. Police can make excellent talent showing itself, which is the performance appraisal system of the aim and significance.Evaluation model is designed, the bottom module function is encapsulated, the script uses the object oriented programming, provides the interface for the two development. Finally the overall management system is tested, the research and development of the system is summarized, and the future upgrades and further development is prospected. The system has been put into use, the effect is safisfactory.
