The numerical control technology is the core of modern manufacturing industry which is the basic of national defense construction and national economy. Recently, the wide application of CNC technology makes the numerical control system more functional and improve its performance.As an important part of numerical control system, the motion controller is networked, open and stable, all these characteristics make the motion controller a hot research topic of the science and technology industry. In this paper, we design a networked motion controller based on BF531 and PCL6045 B. The CPU BF531 achieve a perfect balance within performance, integration and price. PCL6045 B is a powerful DSP motion control chip, the interpolation calculating can be completed by the chip. In addition, the motion controller use the Ethernet communication which has the advantages of convenient, high speed, easy IO interface expansion, and isolation protection circuit ensure the stability of the system.Based on the hardware platform of the motion controller, we design the software with the function of network communication, command interpretation and command execution. The network communication module complete the transplantation of uIP protocol stack, the command interpretation module complete the command interpreter of command of CNC84 system, and the command executing module complete the PCL6045 B motion control design.Based on PCL6045 B we realize a networked, open and stable motion controller,which has the function of command interpretation and Ethernet communication.
