As a typical financial industry, the insurance industry inherited the typical characteristics of the financial industry. First, it has a wide variety of data. The relationship between the data is closely and intricate, which means a minor modification can affect the whole body. Secondly, the amount of data is huge, most with timeliness.Once the chance is missed, or the response is not in time, the data may lost its meaning.An insurance companies with certain scale usually has business modules include market(including user and product type) survey, claims handling, insurance verification,financial income and expenses, sales and so on, including sales and marketing data,customer data, financial income and expenditure data.Currently, the mainframe system has been widely applied to the financial sectors,such as banking, insurance industry, and so on. Centered on the mainframe system, this subject tries to manage the construction and implementation of the management system of Bank-Insurance Link. The system aims to realize the administration of related data concerning the insurance system and the Bank-Insurance Link as well. The system can handle large quantities of insurance data within the batch mode. And DS of the system can be used to receive, match data and then generate corresponding management information by using background programs through calculation and analysis. The main tasks and achievements of this thesis are listed as follows:As for the demand analysis, based on the analysis and research of traditional Bank-Insurance Link System as well as summarization of its weakness and strength, this thesis defines the system demand through interviewing and investigating banking and insurance business of the main customers using this system.During the process of system design, this thesis carries out an overall design of the Bank-Insurance Link System on the basis of detailed analysis of the demand. The system consists of access module, log management module, system management module, report management module as well as data analysis module. Due to the complexity of this system, focusing on data analysis module of the Bank-Insurance Link System, this thesis discusses further detailed design, including data filtering, data sort, data statistics and the function such as print or output as well as the database of the system.In the system implementation part, this research adopts COBOL language to conductconcrete implementation of the data analysis module, showing key algorithms of this process and implementing interface of this system. In the end, this thesis goes on with running and testing of the system and makes a future outlook for its further development.At present, the system has been applied into real situations in the Economic Bank of Wulumuqi, the result of which indicates a gross improvement working effect and efficiency, bringing much benefit for the corporation.
