CL’s existing OA system is based the Browser / Server system of PC side. It has been very inconvenient for the traveling staff to use a PC connected through a VPN into the company’s system. Therefore, the company began to consider the development of mobile OA client. In the field of mobile development, Web App approach gradually received more and more attention. The advantages of its cross-client platform and experience consistency has made it possible for the mobile terminals’ main needs to be reached at a low cost. In terms of a limited budget and development cycle, the use of Web App development is a good cost-effective choice in the current condition.This project discusses the use of dojo framework technology based on domino System, and the design and development of mobile portal systems according to CL’s existing OA system, combining with the Web App development features, and the relatively mature development models of REST, front-end MVC, etc.This paper elaborates the establishment of the system from the requirements analysis, system design, implementation and testing. The requirements analysis part analyzes the demand for the company’s mobile OA system, and comes to company’s business needs. According to the needs, the functional modules required by this system are then split up on demand. The system design aspect, according to the results of requirement analysis, introduces the design elements of each module in details, and gives the interface prototypes and data systems required specifications. The system implementation section describes programming methods using Dojo Mobile combined with Java Script, and the implementation details. System testing section, focuses on different models of different browser configurations tested system compatibility status.Eventually the system has been applied to CL’s traveling staff and executives’ mobile office. It improved the timeliness of company information release to travel staff, and its company address book module facilitated linkages among colleagues. Its Web App form reduced the users’ installation and update workload. The workflow functionality greatly improved the timeliness of company’s approval process. The launching of this system enhanced operational efficiency of companies.
