The whole society has entered the information age, the power system is also the case. In the daily operation of power systems, maintenance, repair, and often requires a lot of drawing information, they exist in all aspects of electrical engineering design, construction, completion, etc., all aspects. With the increasing number of drawings, the space needed to gradually huge, when querying and management is also very inconvenient and time-consuming, greatly delayed the project efficiency. How better to save, faster query, better management of these drawing information has become a serious problem facing the power system.In order to improve the management level drawing, making remote information easier to obtain, and so that information and data can be updated more quickly, transfer and sharing, so that document management of the power system more standardized, more professional, and thus to the power system overhaul the safe operation of work has brought great convenience. The system will be large database Oracle9 i data processing platform to drawing system server for the application service center to enterprise Intranet network for the support, three-tier structure approach(client- Proxy server-database server), the use of sophisticated and representatives direction of mainstream software development J2 EE software development tools, the drawing file management, process control and management integration to achieve integrated management.This paper studies two systems now popular architecture--C/S framework, B/S architecture, and identify the most suitable power company document management system architecture. Wherein, C/S architecture refers to the "Client / Server Client / Server", B/S architecture refers to the "Browser / Server browser / server." Combined with the company’s actual power, we use B/S, C/S coexistence client solutions, providing C/S, B/S two types of access terminals, B/S client is mainly used for users to browse, general management operation, archive process management. For drawing edit user, the system by way of C/S, the switched Fast Ethernet network environment, workstation software environment for Windows9 X / XP / 2000, C/S has all the functions B/S mode clients and provide drawings Online modification, red pen annotation functions.Document Management Digital drawing significantly enhance the management level, the application of the project makes drawing easier entry process, information release more cheaply, while drawing can improve the efficiency of queries and search for remote access to information, so that information and data Updates can be more efficient, transfer and sharing, so that document management of the power system more standardized, more professional, and lay a solid foundation for the safe and efficient operation of power systems. By this time the power of document management system operation, the management and production personnel universal reaction system user-friendly, easier to find, work efficiency is improved. Archive drawings, modify, approval, browsing more standardized and efficient process management, data backup and more secure on the grid quality, the economy played a catalytic role. In this paper, the theory and simulation of network file management system show that with C/S architecture and B/S architecture coexist in a manner that provides for the Document Management System applications more smoothly in the power company’s application platform.
