Tourism Information System Design And Development Based On The Android Platform

In the process of the development of the mobile Internet, Intelligent Terminal has achieved rapid development, especially, the continuing improved of smart phones and internet technology on mobiles, which let people’s lives become increasingly dependent on it. Currently, smart phone has become a new network devices, the applications on smart phones also facilitate and improve people’s lives. Tourism industry is a service-oriented integrated services industry, where has a variety of information related to travel, complex and huge. Now, the majority of users own a smart phone. During the tourism process, if you want to check all relevant information of maps, weather and personal information and so on, you need to use the traditional ways to get it. However, the variety of information and the inconvenient operation made it hard to present results to user.Based on the above questions existed in the tourism, we proposed to develop a tourism mobile information system based on Android, which provides a certain convenient information query platform for travel. People can gain some valuable and useful tourism information from this platform during travel.This paper contains following works:1. Introduced the current situation of mobile phone travel information processing in domestic and international. String from the actual requires, analyze the actual needs of mobile travel applications, and design the software architecture based on the Android, and also use the more mature layering technology of Android.2. Divide systems into functional modules, including maps, navigation, weather, blogging system and system management and so on. And uses hierarchical method to design and encapsulate functions of the system based on layers. In order to improve the performance of the system, the system also uses a buffer technology. The core modules are maps and navigation modules, using the way of Google Maps API to package them as a component for other modules to call.3. Implement the tourism information system based on Android, and the operation of the system achieved the desired results.
