The Design And Implementation Of Self-service Tourism System Based On Android Mobile Phone

With the rapid development of telecommunication and computer technology, mobilephone becomes an essential tool for communication and entertainment, and it plays a veryimportant part in modern people’s life. Android operating system rapidly becomes one of themost important smartphone platforms with its openness and good portability. In addition,tourism which closely associated with information technology bacomes a new spiritual andrecreational enjoyment industry. To get tourism-related information anytime and anywherehas become an urgent need nowadays.This paper analyzes the architecture and application development of android operatingsystem, and binds GPS based on location service and Google Maps technology together.Meanwhile, the tourism system uses database and file storage to cache part of data so as toreduce network traffic, and provides friend user interface. Specifically, the paper studies threesubsystems of the sef-service tourism system:(1) Attractions query, the subsystem can provide the location of tourist attractions, that isto say, can show the latitude and longitude on the map. It can make three-day weatherforecasts, query the path between two sites by car or walk, and search the nearby regionincluding accommodation, catering, entertainment, etc. Besides, it can switch between threemodes of map, street, satellite and traffic.(2)GPS Location, the subsystem can get the current location of tourist and remind thetourist when they enter or leave the region by music. More, it can trace tourist’ path and savethe average speed and other important information into the database for view and animationplayback at any time.(3)Photo upload, the subsystem can take picture and save to an SD memory card. Touristcan preview pictures by the form of gallery and upload them to the internet and share themwith friends.The main work of this paper fully analyzes and implements the self-service tourismsystem by requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing and release. Tourist only have to download and install the software, and then can have the service.
