Design And Development Of Dalian Tourism Information System Based On Google Maps

Along with the development of science, tourism has begun to use scientific means to show the information. Tourism information system as a product of tourism information, with the functions of spatial information display, spatial information query and spatial analysis, it provides a strong support for the tourist information. Compared with the other tourism developed countries, our existing tourism information system is not perfect, and the tourism market has become increasingly hot, so we need to build a distinctive tourism information system. One the one hand, it could propagate the tourist city; on the other, it also provides more convenient services to the visitors.It analyzed the drawback of exiting information systems, and designed the function modules of the system from the angle of tourists, and then introduced the system in some key technologies, including the Google Maps API development model, JavaScript and Panorama technologies. Finally, it developed the Dalian tourism information system, and gave some parts of the system code and related images.Taking Dalian Tourism Information System design and implementation for example, the paper introduces the process that how to design the system's structure by three fields, structure design, interface design and data base design. It has developed Dalian Tourism Information System based on Google Maps and JavaScript. The system provided some functions, such as tourist map browsing, information query, spatial analysis and so on. It also provided the usable suggestion for the tourists to make their journey plan.
