In order to resist the noise interference during communication, channel coding is added in wireless communications. Convolutional codes and concatenated code has been widely used in wireless communication as commonly used channel coding. It is very important to identify the coding parameters in the information intercepted, intelligent communications and many other fields.At the initial of this thesis, the characteristics is introduces about the convolutional code encoding and concatenated encoding. Based on these characteristics, a complete set of process method is established to identify the coding parameters. My researches are as follows:Types needed to be identified and their basic principles of the recognition algorithm are presented in RS code, convolutional codes and interleaving parameter identification.1/ 2 rate convolutional code generation matrix recognition algorithm is extended to 1/ n rate convolutional code based on the encoding characteristics. By means of using the Euclidean algorithm, this method has small amount of data need, fault tolerance and fast calculation speed. The k/ n system convolutional code generation matrix recognition algorithm is promoted to non-system convolutional code. This algorithm achieves a certain degree of fault tolerance by using kernel algorithm. According to the characteristics of different rate convolutional codes, general recognition algorithm is proposed to achieve arbitrary rate convolutional codes from code length, bit rate to generate an overall estimate of the polynomial.The concatenated code identification methods are also discussed. Because there is no relevant concatenated code recognition algorithm to reference, the characteristics of the cascade code encoding are researched before recognition. After that, a hierarchical cascade identification code recognition algorithm is presented in this thesis. Simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively identify the code parameters. When the BER is 0.005, the detection probability is still above 90 %.The phase ambiguity in mapping process is discussed in this thesis. The phase ambiguity impact in parameter identification is researched. This thesis proposed a mapping, coding types and encoding parameters unified recognition algorithms, considering the impact of joint estimation fuzzy mapping phase encoding parameters. This ensures that the parameters estimated in the actual channel coding parameters accuracy.
