With the rapid development of civil aviation transportation traditional way of the automatic monitoring of the air traffic control is becoming more pressure. And the popularity of secondary surveillance radar in our country is far from enough, at this time of ADS‐B technology bring new opportunities for ATC. ADS‐B compared with the traditional secondary radar surveillance, on the use cost, precision, error, clear advantages surveillance capability. And ADS‐B technology can be in the absence of secondary radar coverage in mainland for aircraft was stronger than secondary radar standard between virtual control service. A lot of advantages, based on the technology of ADS‐B has accelerated the world of ADS‐B technology research and promotion.Communication and monitoring technology features prominent make ADS‐B has become the backbone of the new navigation system.This paper mainly through the study of ADS‐B technology related, main work is to develop suitable for ADS‐B monitor and control system application software. Include monitoring agent application software, centralized monitoring application software and application software is used to display the plane flight information. This article first related technologies of ADS‐B, and development situation at home and abroad to do the introduction. After the implementation ADS‐B ground centralized monitoring system platform used by various functions, development tools, as well as the key transmission technology.For ADS‐B ground centralized monitoring system, the main function of hardware in detail. By ADS‐B ground centralized monitoring system each function demand analysis, module for the decomposition, on this basis, the analysis of each function module in detail.
