In recent years, with the rapid economic development of china and continuous improvement of overall national strength, southwest aviation industry is booming. The number of major airports'aircraft creates new record repeatedly. The increments are increased substantially.In the rapid development of the excellent situation, the security work of South-west Air Traffic Control Aviation has encountered great challenges, mainly in the following three risks such as the risks of Air traffic control, the risk of equipment security and the risk of natural disasters.With the carried out and construction of a variety of air traffic control projects, the meteorology projects of Southwest Air Traffic Control are also expected to invest in the construction and application of the southwest region. How to protect against the risk of meteorological equipment, how to work better to meet the meteorological services for civil aviation security, have become the main issue of the Southwest Air Traffic Control meteorological department. In such historical conditions, in order to meet the development of aviation weather better, in order to reduce security risks because of weather equipment, the research and design of the meteorological equipment centralized monitoring system for the Southwest Air Traffic Control will provide convenient service and reduce the negative impact for aviation safety.Based on the meteorological service's urgent need for meteorological equipment central monitoring system, the paper studies the feasibility of monitoring system design and implementation plan. At the same time, the corresponding model is built and the software of the meteorological equipment centralized monitoring system is achieved.In this system, the Southwest ATC meteorological equipment management database is set up and the meteorological network operating platform is perfected. The system achieves the monitor of the weather radar, the automatic observation systems, the meteorological satellites and a number of meteorological equipments such as UPS. This system can work better to provide support for the civil aviation. Based on the meteorological equipment status and future application of meteorological equipment, according to user needs, the B/S (Browser / Server) technology is used in the network architecture of this system. Based on the vector graphics of the meteorological information, all types of meteorological equipment status data can be resolved by the server computer. So the monitor of the meteorological satellite, DVB-S systems, automated observing systems, doppler weather radar systems, UPS systems, database engine room and other status monitoring can be achieved. The control terminals also can be carried out in various monitoring display.The entire system has been designed with good user interface. The various types of meteorological equipment status information can be visually displayed, and can effectively provide for the aviation weather services. The system has been applied to the service for the Southwest Air Traffic Control and play an active part for the protection of air traffic in southwest.
